20 de Noviembre, Dia de la Revolucion
20 of November , is the day of the Revolution in Mexico and everywhere there are big parades and opportunistic politicians giving speeches . The same here in Morelia, a big parade was planned. At first I didn't feel like going there, because when ever I hear the word Revolucion I get a bad feeling, in our recent history too much damage has been done to our countries in the name of some "pinche" revolution and in some countries the revolution madness is still going on
![]() But at the end I went and I did not regret it . The theme of this years parade was sport: A lot of schools and some private enterprises were there, all dressed up in a different sport uniform. If it wouldn't have been for some historic/folkloric groups, you could never have guessed what the parade was all about. People went out there and everybody had a good time ![]() Preparation started early in the morning ![]() Security was very big ![]() And the police has nice and brand new bikes ![]() Not only the police was motorized ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This group catched my atention, the revolutionary cooks ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
