I had to get out for a little local riding yesterday. Weather was beautiful with no wind. One of my excuses was I needed to go scrub in the new tires. I can't believe how much of a difference they made, even on this sub-par syspension bike.

Check out my map holder.

Thanks!
Ya my daughter was playing with it in the garage and i swiped it from her. She had another one though. Then my wife gave me some pipe cleaners out of a Christmas box, so that's what I used. It lifted up at speed, but no biggie.

Yokomo, you inspired me to get off my butt and ride today. My buddy and I took a nice long lunch!

Sweet!!! I was afraid the KLR Tupperware was a PA thing. I will feel right at home in KS.

Is that a hill? In Kansas? One of the things I hate here when we ride are the staircase steep bolder covered hills. Up or down will mess up my day.
As much as I want to ride. I never want to be the one holding people up. And at this point in my life, I don't ride for excitement. I ride to relax.

I am just not looking forward to days like these. I have to stay in one piece for my new job.

Sure they are great on video. But scanning patients the day after can be rough...

Yokomo, those pics look familiar from another forum!

Makes me jealous!

Love the snow hill climb! Not that frisky anymore!

Me either. I am too old and fat to get tossed around like that. I just want to take the scenic route any more. Anything over 30-40 off road and I am not having a good time. I am just keeping up for the good of the group. I don't mind spirts. But some of the PA people I ride with will do 70 all day thru some pretty tight stuff with zero run off. I image in the open plains I will find a higher comfort zone. But as I stand now, I prefer to cruise at a speed I can still take in the surroundings,

There are some steep hillclimbs but you have to go looking for them. I won't touch them on my KLR. My KLR is my Grandpa bike, you just go cruise and chill on it. Nuttin' wrong with spending some quality time with ole' Grandpa though!

Happy Thanksgiving all
