Happy turkey day

congratulations! Taking first place in a foot race of any length is no easy task. I would guess it was sub four minute... Maybe someday you'll be as accomplished in off roading?......

Oh, geez your too nice, I know I was not that fast. It was a pretty small competition. I would bet it was more like 6:30 min. If I could get you up here to teach me some of your tricks, maybe I could be as accomplished offroad.

For sure!. BBQ sounds good....I was going to order popcorn shrimp at the Anna Maria Oyster House today but might get the rack of ribs with hush puppies instead.....Thankfully I can enjoy this beautiful day because neither the sad sack Lions or NASCAR are on TV today.

Sprained left shoulder is mending. Stuff moves around in there but you hardly can tell what is new damage and what happened at Peck MX in 1972 Wally. I guess I will survive. Just a lot of weird popping around sounds. When you get to be my age that is just the "new normal" anyway.... You will see. Stuff all packed for NM. That Lake Co ride extends to you next yr too man. Sort of a throw together tour of sort but we can find you a bed /bedroll or something to sleep on. Usually hit the cottage as soon as I get back to MI in May , 2nd week.

You should have gone down to Evansville,IN with us for the LooseNut last month. You would have loved it.Those guys love to get in the mud...........fun.

I'm in the south and bikeless for a couple of months, unless my mt bike counts as a bike. I have done some great single tracking at San Felasco Hamock State Park. Google it if your bored. No stinking dino powered vehicles allowed. Eating out three times a day and getting fat and going broke at the same time. The local paper printed a warning to the local riders that the tourist are coming and to be extra careful. Many of the riders down here ride like theres no tomorrow so after the yankees show up there might not be a tomorrow for some of them. I'm surprised more of them don't wear helmets as bad as they ride?

Now that the rabble rousers have headed south.....

Mark your calendars for Saturday December 15th. The VJMC and Checkered Past Cycles are having a Holidays gathering from 1600-2000. Food and beverages will be provided. All we ask is for a donation of a new toy or if you prefer, non-perishable food item. Of course cash donation could also be made. Time of the year to give back or pay it forward...whichever direction you want to go. All are invited.
