Older KLR for $750.

http://santafe.craigslist.org/mcy/3427156305.html

In Santa Fe for thanksgiving. Towed it up to sell, but got such a low offer from the guy I brought it for that I decided to keep it. I'm only here for a short while and I'd rather not tow it back with me. Make me a decent offer so I don't have to take it back with me. Got a new sport bike and don't need this one any more
From my previous albuquerque ad:
1987 Kawasaki klr650 for sale. Bought it as a project bike, fixed it up and rode it all summer long before I decided I'd rather have a street bike. Its an 87, so it does have its share of minor problems. It could use a new brake lever (bent, but usable) and the sight glass is cracked, its about time for a new sprocket and chain, and could use a new front tire. Got a new rear tire and tube a few hundred miles ago. Locking gas cap is a bit finicky, but works. Gets around 150-200 miles before reserve and somewhere around 45 mpg on regular gas. Hasn't been ridden lately so I need to charge the battery before its ridden again.
Previous owner said he used to drive it up to Colorado, and I've taken it as far as Pecos, but mostly used for around town. Great on dirt or road.
A little rough around the edges, but ready to be driven home.
$750 or best offer

Yes it is. I bet that one can get that bike for much less than 750.

2002 kawasaki zrx 1200 r - $3500 (vernon, ct)

http://hartford.craigslist.org/mcy/3387367860.html

only a 1900 mile ride home, and I've never been to Connecticut

I'm selling a beautiful mint conduction ZRX 1200R
New chain, sprockets, tires, battery, this bike is like new condition runs and looks brand new...
This bike was used as a commuter bike, very easy miles, original exhaust and it has always been garaged and professional maintained.

The ZRX started as an homage to the '82 KZ1000R Eddie Lawson Replica, which was a factory tribute bike to what Eddie Lawson raced in Superbike.
When the real McCoy was raced in Superbike it had a braced swingarm

You're not missing anything. Well, other than being able to say you've been to Connecticut

I've always had a thing for the zrex's, although I'd prefer the green.

I've got a friend in Connecticut who could probably store it indoors for you until you can plan your trip...

Hey Blake, I also have a friend in CT, in Ellington, one town north of Vernon. If you are serious and need somebody to check it out I can ask him for you. He has 4 bikes himself.

I have done the CT to Colorado route 4 or 5 times. Lots of just "sit and twist the trottle" bordom.

I think the ZRX should be green, but red is my favorite color for a motorcycle.
