Is anyone interested to ride some trails on Sunday? Im downtown TO, but I can meet up anywhere within 1.5 hour riding radius.

Will be riding Sunday east of the GTA. Plan to end up in Bewdley. Route will be road allowances and some sandy play areas. Will be avoiding excessive mud. PM or text 416-801-0349 if interested.

A couple of riders have been doing the pre-ride for the Ontario Dual Sport Club, April 27th, 2013, Bethany Ride and have encountered a lot of water, mud, ice & snow on the un-maintained roads (Keener can confirm). 3 or 4 of us will be doing the final pre-ride Sunday so, we may run into each other on the trail.

Yes, expect some lake crossing, 20" deep soft mud and snow. I bet you there still lots of s ow on the Bethany trail.

I should have posted this last week, but I did not. I find myself on vacation this week, the wife is away but I'm in charge of my 4 year except while she is in school for the day from 8-4pm.I also find myself with a F800GS with less than 500km and looking for someone to ride with during the day in the Durham area.
I imagine most people are off at work, but anyone who is free or "works from home" in the area who wants to hook up I'm around.

Today I'm thinking of a small trek to Washago up Hwy 12. Tomorrow I hear rain, if its warm enough might try out to see how waterproof this suit is. No other plans for Thursday or Friday.
I've only lived in Oshawa for the past 6 years and only had the bike for just over a month. Slowly exploring. I did find the dirt road of the Newcastle-Scugog Road by the Lafarge Gravel/Sand pit.
I'll have to pass on the hard-core off-road as myself nor my bike (scorpion trail tires) are not up for that . But light off-road or on-road trips would be great .

I hope to hear from someone, as I've yet to meet any of you.

Sunday's ride to Bewdley went well. Motomart and myself headed east from Raglan taking road allowances most of the way to Bewdley.

Thanks go to Keener for helping to promote the ride on Sunday Conditions were good with only a few tough spots, but that's to be expected.

Motomart elected to leave as we were returning to the Raglan area. I played around in some local sand pits. All in all an excellent ride.
