I am a hugest fan of the HK/KTM Gobi top case. Has served me very on on the VStrom and the R1150GS. Hoping it will find a home on the 800xc also.

Since I already had a GIVI E52 trunk
and wanted a more functional rack to tie my camping gear to, I went with the Altrider rack.

It is already prepped to accept the GIVI mount kit. It's also ready to accept the Rotopax fuel cells.
The E52 provides a great backrest for the pillion and quick lockup for my helmet when going to and from work.

I use a Micatech medium top case. It's exactly the same width as the grab handles. I can take better pics if anybody wants.

I know she don't look pretty...but it sure has capacity. Fit a 20 pack today...with a little lube, I might be able to do a full case.
