Do I take correctly from your comment that you removed the cover before the bike cooled down?

If so, let it cool completely down next time and it will help ease the removal of the cap.

I did the first valve adjustment and the inspection bolt was almost loose. I let the bike cool overnight.

was a little fidgety getting it right though still easy.

Very satisfying doing it yourself.

Valvetrain wear as in the more clearance, the more inertia on the hit from the rocker arms before the valve springs take up the energy...

Minor wear along with possibly measurable but likely negligible performance difference from slightly more closed valves I guess.

"I'd rather hear my valves than smell them..."

As in "tic-tic-tic" as opposed to the smell of burning valve seats from not closing fully during cylinder ignition. It's almost always the exhaust valves/seats that lose gap over time. G... I wonder Y...

The only issue I was was for the oil change do not got get to get a crush washer when getting to change oil.l have sweapped to a honda crush washe . and rather then collapsing into the threads its a heat treated aluminum washer and you should get 2-3 oil changes out of one washer vice the 1 then change Suzi one. with outh the hassle of having to dig it out of the threads of the drainplug.
