Ha ha... I get it. I just though it was a good way to get everyone on the same page (literally
) and have up to the minute info. I pretty much just use it when I travel, and during those times (close to six months out of each year) it's a valuable tool. Here is fine too...I guess I'll start *another* "traveling south to Panama and back" thread in trip planning ![]() *I must be younger than a lot of you even though I feel pretty aged. Kinda makes me feel good about myself ![]() Thanks! |

There is a helluva lot to be learned from John Downs minimalist trip. Look for the ride reports.
Make friends with local riders. Local rider knowledge will trump any map, Lonely Planet guide book, internet rants and raves, facebook, etc... When you have a local rider guiding you through, it is much more relaxing for you and you can kick back and really "see" what you are seeing.
