Thanks nrspence. Those are Wolfman Expedition Dry saddlebags. The Wolfman stuff is top quality and they work well for me. I also use a SealLine dry bag strapped to the seat for additional storage. Wolfman makes some great dry duffles too, but I have several of the SealLine bags from kayaking and find they work pretty well.

Man, I can't believe how much work they have done on that road to Batopilas since May. Love that place.

Just read your RR - great trip you guys had. I'm planning to go back down again sometime soon and spend a week in the Copper Canyon area and visit many of the places you guys went to - can't wait to go back.

Heck no . . . I've been keeping the DR650 at my brother's house in AZ for the past year. I fly out regularly for 2-3 weeks at a time to explore the great southwest and Mexico. I've had so much fun I decided to bring another bike out. I left Maine last Saturday on an R1100GS and just arrived in AZ today. Can't wait to do some more exploring.
