We've not seen a ride report into Madagascar here before. Wishing you a great and safe trip and hoping to see lots of pics.

Before I start next week the trip, I'll show you a few pictures from the trip last year in North Kenia and Ethiopia.

It was not easy along the eastcoast of lake Turkana, but then much harder on the west side of the Omo river.

And the final highlight in January 2012 was the Danakil dessert

I looked at your website and it would be great if I could read it. Is there any plans to have a English or Australian version :)

Joe, if you do a 'foreign' language version can you do it in English because none of us can understand Australian !

Hi Joe,

I was in Madagascar in September and again in October, as it is such a great country. Very poor but friendly people.

There are plenty of places to go to, but if I was to recommend one it would be Belo sur Mer, on the west coast, about 85kms south from Monrodova via a trail. Have a rest there at the hotel Dauphin. That village is amazing. You can then go on to Tulear.

Also, watch out in the south. It is not as safe as one would like.

Now the bike is finish for sending to Addis Abeba.

Except the rims which are not original, all the other parts are either KTM Power Parts or from Touratech.
Sorry, to change the homepage to a foreign language would be too much work at the moment.
But I'll try to write plenty of reports here, in Austrian English. Which might be somewhere between English and Australian.
