thanks for the data point. 200 mile range is perfect.
"new" i can find the 6.6 for $300, the safari is $475? hoping to find a used one this winter.

i really liked the safari on my wr250r. but, i'm not paying near $500 for a tank i'll use a couple times a year.

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a used safari.

I put in an order about 10 months ago for the 4ga safari. Supposedly it's coming in this week...we'll see.
I just couldn't fathem the idea of hauling around the 6.6ga tanker.

man, did i luck out then. i ordered one last week, sposed to be here monday.

here's hoping it carries the 16+L that everybody says it does......

They are here. I just picked mine up, FINALLY! There are 5 left; 2 naturals and 3 oranges.

bump ttt

just fit my safari. looks nice. fits like a glove. the orange isn't quite the same. whatever, it'll be covered in mud soon

it's slim enough it might make my 3 gal clarke redundant. i can still use the stocker for dirt stuff.

i put a little gas in it to make sure it wasn't leaking. i'm going to try to get out next week for a little loop, i'll fill up and measure it then. it looks like there will be some unusable fuel due to the lower front wings.
