Eek KTM 450/520/525/530 EXC OWNER-BUILT SUPERMOTO Thread

I am thinking about turning a 2011 KTM 530 EXC into a SUPERMOTO, and I am looking for as many ideas as possible.
I'm guessing that many of you have already built KTM EXC Supermotos.

Please post lots of photos and specs for your EXC Supermoto.

What brands/WIDTHS of rims and tires are you running?

I am especially interested in seeing close-up photos of any clearance issues between the wider tires and the chain/swingarm/silencer etc.

You might want to check out www.supermotojunkie.com. Lots of info there.

04 400 exc, 5" rear rim with cush hub and 160/60 Pilot power, tight fit, rim pushed to the rear, no chain rub. Have since installed smr swingarm which is wider up front.

02 520 exc, same wheels as above

I have this lying around (less rotor) if you want to buy also forks and shock off 06 560smr I would sell.

I think the easiest way to convert an EXC into a sumo is buying a wheel set for a KTM SMR. It will bolt up with no muss/no fuss.
