Wow, that was a boring week with no power! I lucked out and had no damage but I feel horrible for people who lost property or family to the storm. The parts arrived at the anodizer before the storm but were delayed in getting shipped back out to me. All should be moving again in a couple of days and I'll send tracking info when they ship.

Well the parts are finally ready after literally going through hell and high water! The anodized finish look sweet and all initial orders will ship out on Monday.

Just finished machining the first run of throttle position sensors for the FCR carbs. These brackets are a universal fit and will work on KTM, SV650 and other V twin varb configurations. The sidedraft side by side FCR configuration already comes with TPS mounting features so this kit enables use of a TPS on all FCR carbs.







The 2 piece kit requires 2 holes to be drilled in the throttle cable mounting bracket as shown in the following picture. A drill template will be included with the kit, as will all required hardware.



The shaft adaptor piece is machined from stainless steel and sits around the existing cable pulley. The 2 cone point set screws engage the hollow spring pin that holds the cable pully on to the throttle shaft. This keeps the part concentric on the throttle shaft and prevents binding.





The TPS sensor will need to be calibrated unpon installation, following the standard KTM procedure will work fine. Sakurama, how did you end up calibrating yours?

In the next few days my website will be revised to include an online shopping card for placing orders for the any of the various upgrades and also for complete carb kits with everything pre-installed.

By the way - in cose folks have forgotten, some early models had improper instructions for setting the TPS.

You have to check this voltage between the Yellow and Black wire. Some early manuals have it as measuring between the Yellow and Blue which is wrong. To measure, you just push the probes in past the rubber seals on the TPS connector to touch the copper on the leads. It is most critical to get the closing voltage between 0.5 and 0.6 v.

It's way easier to take the pins out of the male socket using a thin pick. Remove the pins from the plug and then push them into the female socket and measure from there.

The reduced tension throttle springs just came in and make a noticable difference in reducing throttle effort. Once I get the first round of velocity stacks sent out I'll finish on the online store and the springs will be in there too.

Despite the worst of what mother nature threw at us the first round of Billet FCR Velocity Stacks has shipped! Extra thanks to all that ordered sight unseen and had patience to be the early adopters. I'm also ready with low tension throttle springs, a TPS sensor mounting kit and also the entire FCR upgrade for those who are still running the stock CV carbs. I'm still working on a clever solution to adding a choke that requires minimal modifications.

Chris got his stuff back and before I put a set on my bike I promised to give him some nice photos so after I wrapped up my shoot yesterday I put the carbs on the table. I was planning on getting the black stacks but now that I've seen the orange on my carbs I have to do that. I'm going to try to get it all mounted up this week and take the bike out for a ride Saturday or Sunday.

Anyway, Chris is also a Sudco dealer now so you can buy a whole kit from him with the reduced pull springs, the TPS bracket, the stacks, filters and cables plus the jets and vent filter. Here's the whole kit:

The whole shebang looks really good as a package.
Orange is the only color that matters, of course, but I can understand the guys wanting blacked out, er..., a stealthier color.

I have a few questions, since you have my undivided attention.

I have a Ducati M900 (Monster), and have installed FCR 41mms. The usual 'stacks that come with them are the flatter (I think) 35mm versions. The blue 'stacks are 50mm, but don't accommodate any filter. Basically, the longer the runner in the Pantah / Monster / SS engines, the better torque and usability. Shorter stacks are great too, but for top end.

So, my long-winded question is if you make different lengths of velocity stacks or at least 50mms which would help me a lot.

The work I see looks phenomenal, thanks for the initiative.
