Glad you still use film but I switched to digital years ago and have the best of both world now with an adapter so all my original film lens work in manual mode.

You other inmates use your DR's for getting a camera into normally inaccessible places ?
Or any other fun thing you can carry on the bike to enhance the trip, yes including SWSBO
Probably not... at least not in the foreseeable future. It remains to be seen what my girlfriend does.

I have a Nikon FM and a D3X (amongst others) and I use the FM with CZ lenses by choice.

[QUOTE=150ron;20103135]Well its a $3.99 a quart vs $11.99+ a quart, so 8 dollar oil change vs a 25 dollar oil change, but yeah i see your point for sure.

I meant the difference in the valvoline and the Rotella T6 full synthetic. Rotella is only a couple bucks more. It does not say anything about motorcycles on it, it can be found on the automotive aisle, but I have had extremely good luck with it.

Clutch pull

Seams like my clutch pull has gotten hard as a rock anything specific on these to cause this? I figure the baskets is getting notched was sure if there would be another cause. I already changed the cable but it made no difference

I saw 1 case similar when piece of the bascket broke (very tiny piece) and got jammed in one the clutch spring. So the safest assumption is to open it & take a look u might only have to replace the basket. A good clutch w/hd springs runs about $60 to $100 on ebay, no need to over spend.

Tested out the range of my IMS 3.2 gallon fuel tank today,

170 miles and it ran out of gas

switched to reserve at 170 miles, ran out of gas at 186 miles, so 16 miles on reserve, 186 totall miles, i was able to fit 3.4 gallons in there, so im pretty happy with that milage, i did have to do a 1/4 miles walk of shame to the gas station tho, when the reserve ran out

made to sure to leave the helmet on, so noone recongnizes me
