Loved Hey Day at the old San Jose Family Camp on Labor Day ... Rainbow Pool, was that the name of the swimming hole? They moved it to a new place up near Tahoe now ... too bad ... Thanks for the kind words about the club! Maybe we'll see you on the Oakland MC's Sheetiron next season?

Hey,
Anyone up for a day ride in the South Bay? Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Santa Curz Mts etc.
I ride a street legal WR250 X with treaded tires so hard pack and dirt roads, trails are fun. Anyone up for riding the Santa Cruz Mts, back roads, dirt roads etc.? I'm open Fri thru Sunday.

Hard Working Dog... come on down, you can check out the Transition at the same time...

Ran into the gang from BAARC in Death Valley at Saline Valley Hot Springs ... BigNastybrp, Just Paul and their gals riding bad-ass two-up down South Pass and Zeegman ... Puddles, too! A BRP, 990, 520 and two KLRs ... The hard cases were on their way over Steel Pass and the KLRs off for (easy) North Pass ... I know I got the Honda and Kawasaki models right, anyway ...

BAARC ... we may not post much, but we do ride ... ha!

He rocked the Honda 650R (2 Up) and carried all his own camping gear and clothes, food water etc.. ... You rock BERT and Wendy !

We met Kari, on the white late-model Tiger 800 and her friend, John (?), on the '08 KTM 950 ... they were staying at the Parkfield Inn, and they passed us on the Parkfield Grade and again on Rt 25, and we chatted with them at the store in Pacines ... super nice people ... forgot to ask him if he was on ADV, but he admitted to owning a bunch of KLRs over the years, so ...

Hey guys, thanks for posting! Great to see Paul, Bert and Zeegman, and the two-up ladies ... fun when we can run into one another on the road!

Thanksgiving Pot-Luck on the lawn at the Lower Oasis ... starts every year at 2pm, don't be late, the line for (lots of) food is long ... a fun party with lots of nice people ... not many motorcycle people, though, I think ADVers stay at Panamint on Thanksgiving ...

Lunch in the Alabama Hills, close by Lone Pine ...





Camping in the Temblor Range, Hurricane Ridge, Carrizo Plain National Monument ...

The Parkfield Inn is a nice spot. Rooms are comfy and the food is good. Picked up LTS after his breakdown and saw the 950/Tiger sitting there. LTS was there for a while, me? Just long enough to say hello to the Varian's and then loaded up and gone. Just curios if it was anyone here.
