New tag
I was heading out there and just came back. Although forecast to 5PM was 38, I figured maybe windchill might freeze up some of that water. Anyway, I'm scouting without GPS or map, just take a look at aerials on google maps then try to find my way to the general vicinity. I'd like to grab the tag but, just a small hint. I know the tower but not the area well enough for perspective.

And bumpity bump. We're back.

I'd give that statement a Nod of approval
You'd think its like some sort of Tower Ridge or something right? The way the Tower is on the Ridge..
Honestly I thought I killed this TOR with this one, figured nobody wanted to play anymore

If I had go guess, I would say the current tag was taken from Hopmeadow St. in Simsbury. Am I warm, Blitch?

Old Tag

Nod Hill Road, Simsbury - Golf Club?

I was laughing in that parking lot trying to line up the shot exactly as it was. Parking the bike. Reparking the bike. Helmet falls off handlebars. Move the bike closer to road. Further from road. I'm thinking Blitch might have been sitting when taking the photo? That was fun. Not too cold out either. By the way, I always wear my heated vest with my jacket, but NEVER turn it on. I run hot anyway, but just wondering how many people really use the heat?

Bravo and yes I think I was on one knee to get the tower and bike in the shot. I m not to picky about my tags being replicated exactly, close is good enough for me.

Kawi , if you look at google maps with the sat image you'll see the tower is labeled on top of the mountain, if your zoomed out a little bit the Tower Ridge Country Club is labeled at the base of the mountain on Nod Rd
