Damn Kevin, that sucks about the brake line.
Back in the late seventies I had a front brake line burst on my 67 RS/SS Camaro. Luckily I was only doing about 25-30 mph, heading up a hill on the Warrenton bypass. Could have been a LOT worse.

Funny you mentioned Jalapeno poppers. The local store in Bentonville was selling them this summer. Lately I've been jonesin for some. I just bought some Jalpeno's Wednesday to make some with. I have a good idea what I'm going to stuff them with but do you have any special recipe?
No, I was down in Jo Momma the other day and saw a thread about them. I just stuffed them with cream cheese and wrapped them in bacon. If everyone likes them I might do them again and mix a few things in with the cream cheese .

So where's the Camaro now?

Jack you're a bad ass a fiery ball doesn't stand a chance.

Thanks Bruce, I'll soon have a new pair of boots thanks to you. I hope you surprise the doctors by how quickly you get back on a bike.

Culinary expertise from Jo Momma? Who'd a thunk it!

I've got some Cheddar cheese to mix with the cream cheese. I'm not going to go to the trouble of breading them though...at least this time. I will either wrap them with a strip of Bacon or crumble it into the cheese mix. I better go get some dinner. I'm getting hungry!

As for the Camaro, and a few other cars I've owned, I wish I could say..."in the Garage" but alas I can't.

Seems like I am costing a lot of people money, hopefully my experience will keep others from experiencing what I am. Maybe in January/February I will be calling to see if your home for a drive by or if you want to go for a ride. I should be back on a bike in January if I behave myself for another 26 days, not that I am counting or anything.

Wow Kevin, kinda sucked but could have been disastrous.

Happy belated T- day to YFF's.

Sold my '68 Med blue convert a few years ago on ebay, wasnt running, need total resto and just did not have the $$, space or time. Miss it at times but got $10k for it , that was when the TV shows like Barrett-Jackson and Mecums were jacking up prices and before the economy crash. but I bought it in 1982 at 17 for $2500 so can't complain.

Our CDR trip

A couple of you guys said you wanted to see the slideshow I put together of our trip. Up til now I've been unable to figure out how to send it because the file is to large. Computers absolutely kick my butt but apparently if you click on the Drop box link below the slide show will magically download and play. It's 18 minutes long so it takes a few minutes to open.
