Race fuel, stabilized and fogged.
Battery is out of the bike in the basement on wooden shelf hooked to a tender. Same with boat, Jeep, Wife's bike battery AND garden tractor batteries.

Crash it into a split rail fence. It was about 730am and my faceshield fogged up. I popped it open and saw the gravel going right and me goin straight popped the Burm, got a little air, slid sideways, bounced off the fenced and down an embankment.
Got up, shook it off and rode for another 275-300 miles. Now the bike is home and no harm. Me a partially separated collar bone. Glad it wasn't worse . |

Ouch, Bonehead! Take it easy out there.
Replaced my SE's air filter (among other things) during minor refresh (ie, parts off deep cleaning). Last one wasn't even all that dirty, but good gawd, this bike is ridiculous again. Just nutty, unnecessary power. If you think you might need to replace yours, do it.PS - I think the knocking I have occasionally heard was neither octane nor timing chain related; it was probably a little too much chain slack. Tightened her up a bit, and sound went away. PPS - Keep an eye on the Flea Market thread. I'll be selling lots of aftermarket SE stuff soon--and maybe the SE too. Getting married! Too easy to just clean it all up and re-weld it.
All better now.

Am very curious what failed to let the gps mount adapter separate from your dashboard. I have just ordered the same unit from Touratech along with mount for 276c and don't want to see this happen on the washboards and stuff I ride. |
