Scootac's post about his dog being quieted down after going out and doing an activity reminded me about this picture I took last weekend. So I do not have to worry traffic, I like to take the dogs to walk down at some cranberry bogs not far from my house. The sandy dirt roads are also easier on their paws, than the streets around my neighborhood. Take the dogs for a couple mile walk and they quiet down for a good couple hours once home, usually falling asleep. Like humans, I think the outside air just does them good.
And really, I do not rank too many things higher in life, than a nice peaceful walk with the dogs at the bogs. Taz, the old man on left, and Molly, the not so young anymore pup on the right.

This is Lucky, sweetest big baby ever!
He was surrendered to a shelter, adopted twice and returned before I got him. We had lots of German shepards growing up, but this is my first dog - a Weimaraner/Lab. ![]()
