Jordi Viadoms on a Husky

via FB

I have already tried the Husqvarna!! A test organised at the last minute I was offered the opportunity to shoot with it, no more no less than in Holland, in the sand! The bike is amazing and I have very good feelings with her. Tomorrow I will be in an "off day", also in the Netherlands, to try a little more the bike and continue getting it ready for Dakar.

What great eye candy! I keep going back again and again to look at all the details.

January can't get here soon enough.

I would just like to say a huge thaks to Ted Johnson for writing Tales from the Bivouac, one word, AMAZING, gives you true insight in to what these athletes put themselves through to get to, compete in and hopefully reach the finish line of the Dakar, truly amazing efforts. I have just finished reading it last night and cannot wait to read Part 2

Well done on your time and effort at writing this book, so jealous of your exploits!! A huge thank you once again.

This might be 205 but is worth looking ta if you have not seen it: The views of Cyril, Marc, Helder & Chaleco on the racing in the Desert an mental preparation for the Dakar while at the Marocco rally.

To quote our boy Rodriguez "You need to fark within the rally"

Great video. I could have sworn I heard him say "You need to focus within the rally" although his pronunciation of 'focus' was not entirely clear. Maybe you have a little too much farking on the brain. Freud said that it could happen sometimes.

Haha, I saw it, couldn't stop smiling. All is good with the various factory teams (Honda, Sherco, Yamaha, TM), with the exception of maybe KTM. They requested a software mod for Coma and Despres. They are unsure whether they'll be running the new units in Dakar as they haven't had a chance to test them yet. Fingers crossed!

It just shows again that these riders and drivers are all strong willed, but physics always wins in the end

But where do they store the wheel with freshly fitted tire/mousse? Or was it behind the garden shed where he stopped to relieve himself?
