Find this Pub....

Ride past the Pub to the right onto an unmade road...

In a short while you will come to some gates at the side of the track, ride through the gates....

In a short while the road will be blocked to road bikes, by fallen trees, dirt bike might get past. I stopped by the fallen trees and walked a short while until I saw a derelict house up to the left.

Make your way up to the hill and you will arrive at "Profanity Houses"

The Duc is hiding under some leaves in a huge rock at the front of the house

Yeah, shouldn't be too hard for the locals! And while you are there, you might want to get a Dirt "Bruce" :

Each game should have something to post when people complain/whine. Since I used the stinky cheese one in other thread, I submit this

Waldo, that's NOT the most intelligent thing you've said today....

There are difference ways to teach, mentor, guide, stimulate thought and interest. We each have our own style.... no need to insult one that's different then yours....

How do you know? After all, I've been in Oklahoma the past couple of days and it may be starting to rub off

That was not directed to your post. It was a picture I snapped yesterday specifically to post in this thread and just got a round tuit. I've used it once already in a text.

BTW-- we're having the weather that NJ had-- high 60's and sunny/clear.

Turn onto this country lane next to the Iron Bridge.

Go past some houses and find the intersection.
The duck is on the other side of the tracks in a rotten railroad tie under a leaf.

Have fun, I know I did

You don't have to worry about that beater with the stickers, do you?

What a beautiful day for a ride in the country, splashing through mud puddles and gravel....

Walter has the duck!

I'm sure, when he gets home, he'll post the tag "get" shot and the new tag!

Yes it was a great day for a ride. I went splashing through a few puddles myself.

In all fairness, Barry found it. I drove about a mile past it before doubling back. 5 of us rode the length of that railbed (going west) a few years ago. It was remarkable because Barry almost got nailed by a train when the deserted track met up with the active one. He was turning around inside the rails when we heard the whistle from around the bend

Anyway, new tag.

This park shares the same name as the town where Jersey Barriers were first used.

Go in the park till you see the trail behind Barry.

Stop about here

Go towards the tree with the "Y" branch around it

At the base of the tree you'll see a couple of rocks

Move the rock and Bob's your uncle.

The Duck's Revenge

We were going to drop the duck a bit of a distance away, and I would have preferred to take it into the woods farther.

However, that old fart Barry pulled a hammie- he pulled it trying to straighten out my bars from my meeting Mr. Lowside trying to launch over the raised railroad tracks coming back from the "get". And the reason he was trying to straighten them was because my shoulder checked out for the nonce from the crash . In addition to the shoulder my right leg/ankle and right elbow took hits. Both are sore, but it looks like that's the extent of the bodily damage. The bike fared better with just the aforementioned tweaked bar/forks. The jacket (First Gear Kili 3) did it's job, but sacrificed the right elbow padding. The First Gear pants got a little torn up but otherwise ok (just well ground-in cinder dirt ) . Do I need to say how glad I was wearing protective gear?

Anyway, as walking wounded we lost our enthusiasm for doing the far away ride and dropped it close by. Other than that-- it was surely a terrific day to be riding.
