PA ICE Rally #5 -- Feb 15-17

Well sheeeeet, it's that time again. Time to start thinking about riding a motorcycle to State College, PA in February.

Is it a good idea? Probably not.

Is it a good time? Oh hell yeah.

As always, we will be staying at the Imperial Motor Inn. Gather Friday, have a few beers. Ride Saturday if the weather supports it and close down the Phyrst Saturday night.

Who are the idiots gonna be this year?

I am back in classes to get my Reactor Operator License. One of the new guys recently graduated from Penn State, and he does remember seeing us riding a few times. He thinks we are all nuts and loves it.

Damn low lifes...they should not be messing with such a high class establishment.

Actually, to be honest, I would not mind staying at a different hotel. The problem is that the Imperial is the only place that has the required combination of price and distance from the Phyrst. If we were willing to either pay cab fare, or not do the Phyrst on Saturday night (

), then we could find a different hotel. Everything else within walking distance of the downtown bars is $100+ per night.
