bit of progress, we put the good cab on the two post lift and then pushed the frame under it, lowered the cab down and then had to man handle it a few inches to get it right, hooked everything up and it would only run for a second and die, that was sunday, then work and life got in the way, only until tonight was i able to discover i had left two plugs unplugged, duhhh
anyways right hand door is on ![]() claw door on , actually both doors are on ![]() upper hinge hole was ovaled out ![]() right hand corner rusted out (imagine that) ![]() and we had a new addition to the family, one of my hens hatched out 6 chicks

I always wanted to do this kind of stuff but somehow ended up in an office job and never scratched that itch. I loved working at a local dealer's bodyshop during college. Did a few minor things with an old duster but nothing like this. looking forward to the rest of the build...

all the doors have been primered, 360'd then reprimered.
![]() ![]() the hood was next, it was chipped and checked really bad, here is Toad i had him DA it with 180,220, then I 320'd it, then we gave it a coat of primer. the next night I block sanded it with some 360 w/d. and another coat of primer. ![]() so it looks like sunday we're going to go in around 10:00a.m. so we can water sand and PAINT THIS BIACH! toad has already taken the seat covers off and we put them in the clothes washer and he put them back on all by himself, the console was busted like so many i've seen, so my mom (who owns a upholstery shop) fixed it with a piece of door panel board. next will be to use the headliner off the red cab and redo it, the original one was crushed in the wreck, it's usable, but would look like crap

For a really dirty fix go get some 3M decal in white, just line it up and stick it over the error. Box is going to be right against that spot anyway.

Looks good, great to see a father and son project come together, well done sir! Just re-shoot that quarter and fix it properly, there is nothing worse than having something you are proud of "except" for that bit. YMMV.
