in Baja they are informed and they do charge 50% (I just lived this!!) and it is cool when you are on a rush!

Whenever I bend the old and true "never ride at night" rule, I like to use the cuotas, early early AM or later evening.
And also when I need to meet up with Guaterider somewhere and I have woken up late.,

But then I usually end up being early, anyways.
It's Mexico, things like that happen.

I rode to Xalapa the day after it "started" and only half the tolls were down 50%. A week later on the way back only one of the 5 or 6 was still full price. They'll get there.

Obviously 6 months wasn't enough time to get the signs changed...

It was the Atlixco toll that was still full price if you're ever heading for Cuerna.

I was told it was because an ex-governer owned or is a partner in this one.

At $117 each way it`s better to go through Izucar de Matamoros if you have the extra 30 minutes.

That wouldn't surprise me one bit. We discussed a blockade of the still full-price tolls in Veracruz.
It's not just $117 either. The toll when you arrive at Puebla is still full price too, and there's not much you can do about that. :mad:
