O.K., I got the word from RoadRanja that it's alright to share.
But, you'll get muddy !

It's Severn Creek Road , off 355 in Owen County. Just east of the river.

I figured it was either Severn Creek or Indian Gap east of the river. Definately not big bike friendly if you are riding alone...

There is a road on the north side of the Rockcastle river called Luner Rd. or Lower River Rd that goes west to 1249. We rode last spring, couple creek crossings. Also a road running north parallel to I-75 Sandhill Rd turn west on Mize Branch cross over 75 . It turns to dirt road/ trail and drops down to same Lower river rd. Some mud holes depending on the weather, but a good challenge.Lots of 4 wheeler trails in there too. Some of this was used in Renfro Valley DS a few years ago.Good luck putting that KAT together, looking forward to the route.

Since Indy sounds like it's going to remain snowbound and Kneekicker's SE Indiana route will likely have to be ridden on another day what's up with you river rats for New Year's Day? I need to go to Somerset to visit my cousin and figure I could come back to Derby City, crash for the night and then ride with you guys.

Whatcha all doing other than nursing hangovers???

Looks like the extended forecast is partly cloudy and a high of 37. I don't really have plans and I'm not opposed to some BBQ....

Here's the place I ordered the glare wizard....

Great product. I ordered one up a week or so ago and got it immediately.

BBQ? Some place in the Louisville area?

I would prefer riding somewhere to get something different... I assume you're taking some form of 2 wheeled transportation? Maybe Mark has an idea and if not I can do some looking between wiring up my grips. I really enjoyed eating at the whistle stop but that's not BBQ and its just south of etown so that would be the wrong direction for you.

Glad you found the wizard it looks like Jeff may have started a trend with it.

It'll be better down there weather-wise than it is here and no melting snow to make slick spots. I figure any riding is better than none at all and doing it with good friends is even better.

You guys figure it out and I'll follow you anywhere.

I'll be returning from the Somerset area so I'm pretty easy as far as a starting point.

90% sure I'm riding Sunday morning to have lunch with some of the Indiana gang at 58 Cafe just northwest of Brownstown. Probably take main state roads up and smaller ones back south.

Anyone want to meet at McD's in Jeff about 10:00? Figure 1.5 hours up. Be back in plenty of time for the Super Bowl.

PM or post up here if interested
