WHAT?! I'll be ordering one as soon as they're available for the 800GS. I've got one on my G650X Xchallenge and it's like cheating in the tight stuff.

I decided that it might better benefit all of us if their R&D time was not cut short so they could finish all their testing, etc.

Good to hear. Have you tried steep downhill with rear locked and sliding? I am curious if the factory set idle is high enough to avoid stalling.

Thanks for you feedback.

I've locked the rear end up more than a few times... never once and issue

Remember, it's a centrifugal clutch. When you lock the rear brake it pulls down engine rpm. As the engine rpms drop, the clutch releases at slightly above idle speed. So the clutch is disengaged at idle. Hence, the engine cannot stall as the clutch is fully disengaged.

Rekluse Lover

I have a few miles of racing under my belt with Rekluse on my other bikes, and I can guarantee that regardless of how well the injectors are maped or how perfect the carb is jetted there will be instances where the motor will stall and where feathering the clutch a little will be necessary. Having said that, I too am a big believer in Rekluse...after all I started this thread for exactly this reason of getting enough interest to make Rekluse an option.

Are we there yet?

I took the big girl off road with the new forks, and I was so excited I could hardly contain myself.

Add a Rekluse clutch and I'll have so much fun it'll probably get banned.

Bike is parked till it warms up a little. Made some minor changes but it needs a little more ride time. Very pleased so far as well.
