R100GS Parts
Ive checked all the salvage/wreckers in Australia for a front wheel hub off a R100GS - none available. Does anyone have a source in the US that might have a second hand front hub?

check ebay in germany, you might have to buy a complete wheel. They are hard to find....which means not cheap.

Aftermarket hub sourced in Brisbane; give me a day and I'll find out where from.

Is this part for your R80 build or another bike?
The one on my bike is a custom part (apparently), with many hours of machining to make it fit.

Yes Im fitting a R100GS front end to the R80. Ive located a rim but need a hub. Ive also located a complete wheel but expensive - but thats not really a suprise for GS parts. Ive got a lead on a hub in the US but again $$$. I might just have to bite the bullet and stop bitchin.
David yours looks like a Talon? hub fitted to a excel rim. I was trying keep mine looking more original but it sounds like its about the same cost new as these BMW parts. hoss18 screwed with this post 11-27-2012 at 12:51 AM Reason: spelin |

Not sure what it is, but it took a lot of work to get it like that. The bloke who did it for me (Ray Peake) said he can do a complete wheel for about $900, condition guaranteed. His email is below if you want to contact him.

I have what you need in Canada. Don't have a clue as to what is a fair price for that hub, just PM me with what you think it should be worth and give me a few days to get home and think about it.
