Wasn't sure if you still had the moto. Let me know whenever you want to get out for a ride

Yep, we pushed our bikes for about 10 miles on that trip. Was wishing I had the moto many times that day. Expect for the climb up Pinyon or whatever it's called. I'd never make it up that thing on the 990! We even ran out of water! I thought I'd have to use my SPOT, but luckily we made it out.

Yep, still got it. Or it's got me. Not sure which anymore.

The slide on Pinyon is one-way down for most folks anyhow

Just read thru your Tour Divide report. Reminds me that I should get out on my MTB once in awhile
Pedal with me and i'll make you look like a climbing hero

Sure, you are welcome to join in. How are you with sand?

Hoping to go saturday, but haven't made firm plans yet because my 525 needs some TLC before her next outing.
Waiting on parts. Shoulda been here today

I'll let you know the details if everything comes together.

Welcome to the new year everybody

Late notice as usual

Looks like we will get some stormy weather on sunday, so gotta ride saturday (tomorrow!).

Meeting my dad at Lytle Creek Chevron (Exit I15 at Sierra) 9am.
Nothing special, just the usual stuff in the Cajon Pass area.

Hey Matt

You probably already left for your ride today, but in case you change to tomorrow ... and it doesn't rain hard, I want to ride Lytle Creek for a shake down ride on a 525 I picked up recently. Maybe you could send me some tracks of a good ride for my purposes ???

Haven't ridden since LA-B2V. The scooter is gonna be down for maint. Dropping off on Monday to George @ESP. Hope to hook up for a ride w/ you all near the end of the month. Going through 'no ride' withdrawals.

Hey Todd-
Sorry we missed you. Did you ride today? Not near as bad as predicted, but much more wet and gloomy than yesterday.
Keep an eye on this thread. I always try to post here if riding locally.
BTW, Congrats on the new bike

Yeeee Haaaaaa! Yep, me and Aram rode up Lytle Creek (kind of), to Baldy Mesa back down and over to Cleghorn. The kind of part was exploring some single track creek bed that the GSA would never had been able to go through. I'm going to have to unlearn all the big bike habits and learn how to ride again.

Me and Aram at the look out

The new (to me) machine

Saturday was THE day - clear, cool, moist soil (still a little dusty for the noob in the back - me!). way too much fun riding on snow and the creek bed later in the day. I'm glad we took Rob's suggestion of going up the canyon. I never knew any of that was up there. Thanks for leading the ride, Matt!

I'm not finding the insert photo button on this thread-reply page, so if someone can point me to it I'll upload some photos.
