Only a little snot in just a few wet places. Mostly perfect moisture & traction everywhere else!
 The 100-mile KnoxvilleOHV, Reiff-Rayhouse, BlueRidge, & BuckIsland loop somehow grew to 119 miles.  We must have done a little exploring along the way.  Tread Lightly!Got back to pavement before dark, and back to the truck without going on reserve. Dinner at the Rockville Bar & Grill was pretty good. The blonde bartender was even BETTER!  You missed a FUN one! Catfish ...  Yeah, we had to bunny-hop the locked gate again! I was out at Carnegie today and it was wet wet wet. At 3pm the rangers opened all the hills. I'm out for riding this week..I'll keep my fingers crossed for next week.

Qwik - i dont think its possible for a solo rider to get an adventure bike past the gate on reiff road. I sure couldnt do it.

Ms.Beta is ready for her desert trip next week. The rain finally stopped.
Everything at Carnegie is open except the SRI loop. Ride tomorrow (Wednesday. Dec.19). Arriving by 11AM & riding to 3 or so. Dark-green Toy Tundra between Moto Mart & restrooms. Riding my (black&blue singletrack) practice loop a few times. Anybody wanna go play tomorrow? Catfish ... |

Got your email and thanks for reaching out. I may try to make it to Hollister tomorrow. I have done a ton of work to my bike and need to get it out there. I was hoping to get my gearing changed before I rode again but wont be able to do that before tomorrow.
I will post up later tonight if I can make it. Not sure if I can make there by 9am as I will be coming from the Danville area. Thanks! Ed |
