Laugh What have you found in your ktm 990 oil screens

today me being the trusting person i am decide to change the oil in my new to me 990 after being told that it just had a full service . jk i am not that trusting! and found this in my one of oil screens. I sure am glad that screen was there!

That's the screen in the oil tank, right?

yes its the one in the bottom of the oil tank, and i have no idea what it is!

That looks like a valve clearance shim? Clean it up and give a us another photo, please

its very thin and smaller then a penny. looks took me like it might be a seal to the lid of an oil jug or something.

Lol it's ok I smashed it between a grounding rod and a pice of unistrut. It happens a month or two a go it does not hurt any more but it sure did then!!
