Them bump stop cushions sure look in pretty good nick to me... I've heard them Sach's rear dampers can suffer from cavitation if you "bottom" them too hard... not to mention problems with "ring slap" on two strokes if you don't use the right oil (mix). Like John Laws say's... lubrication is all important (or was that Alan Jones...? )

If it is running that lean then you will probably do its ring in and have to do a rebore afterwards. Probably better off trading it on a new model then.
