OEM style Headlight replacement
Quote:
Pretty sure the headlight is the same as an XR400... in which case just about any bike shop should be able to get an aftermarket one through Motorcycle Specialties.... Should just bolt straight in. Cheers Scotty |

Found a lamp at an Auto parts supplier here in Melb similar to those in the link. Cut out the OEM item from a spare housing and with a lot of fiddling managed to get it to fit and glued it in with SIKAFLEX. Spacing is an issue as it protrudes a lot further forward than the OEM and is not a nice fit in the original headlight surround/number plate assembly. That said it takes halogen 35W bulbs so is a vast improvement. JM |

OK so several pages ago there was alot of air filter talk, and differing thoughts, I have for some time run k&n filters, Recently I ordered a uni filter foam filter it turned up today and i must say i'm impressed with it's quality and design,
the back of the filter has a nice ridge of sealing foam to fit into the recess in the air box, now all i need to decide is weather to use to genuine back fire screen or the twin air high flow screen? any thoughts???
