i-phone 5 navigation apps question

Besides Garmin, I noticed a # of navigation apps available. I plan on using my phone rather than a gps. . .I would appreciate any suggestions on which app to go with ?

I only use it as a back up, but the one it comes with seems to work fine for me.

MotionX GPS Drive. I use this on my iPhone for business trip navigation and as a back-up on the bike. Works great.

Navigon. $$59.99 but works great. Offline maps, turn by turn with voice. Now owned by Garmin!

+1 on the Navigon app.
A big plus is the fact that the maps are stored on your phone. You can also only have the maps of the
states you want. Takes up a lot less space that way.
Look and/or wait for a sale. I got mine for $20 off normal price. This time of year is a good time for it
to be on sale.
