R80ST headlamp needed in AUS
Hey All -
I've recently moved to Australia and in order to register my R80ST from the US I need a headlamp for driving on the left. Does anyone know where I can find one used here in Oz??? I'm trying to avoid buying new since the Victorian government is taking all my other money in fees to ride here. From our research I guess an R65 headlamp would also work. Thanks for your help!!

New Member w/ R80ST
Hey, all ... and Merry Christmas!
New member here, and thought I'd add my bike to the list: 1983 R80ST Mileage: 56.5K VIN: 7200 Owner History Unknown She runs well, and I try to make sure she stays that way. ![]() ![]() This pic is more recent, after this summer's replacement of the exhaust, pushrod seals, neutral switch, and getting a spline lube in as well. Now she's developed an electrical problem causing the taillight and instrument lights to blink and flutter in sync...but runs great. ___________ 2005 K1200s 2004 R1150GSA 1983 R80ST |

Christmas Cheer
Merry Christmas everybody. Hope you are all making it through the holiday season. I'm spending time with relatives in Kansas and am thankful for having the foresight to purchase a 3/4L of Jager yesterday when I was about town. Been dealing with the the garbadge disposal detonation and baby's first scratched cornea in good stride. (not my garbadge disposal and not my baby) I kind of wish I had stayed at home so I could have sat on the bike making reving noises while thinging of spring...
![]() Random passing thought - does anybody have experience w/ the ST reynolds racks? Just wondering how they compare to the stock rack/bag mounts. Cheers!!
