I am from Brazil and would love to participate at the 2013 KTM National Rally, but it is to far way to bring my bike.. Do you guys think it would be possible to rent a bike, even a smaller one to participate?
I will be in the USA around this date and I would love to participate. |

CMurgel, bike rentals
Hello CMurgel, I think the bike rental options may have improved and the ride will be super. Harry Hill , Basin Motor Works, Mancos, CO is/will be renting KLR bikes by that time.
If this is of interest to you, let me know , I will put you in contact with Harry, or contact you , or what ever works best for you. Yes, I know KLR, but still a bike, still 2 wheels and the awesome roads will not know the difference. ![]() Keep in touch, gale |

Well I guess I got something in common with them then after all. Considering I could tow a trailer with my friends in it to steamboat springs for 900 dollars spending 225 dollars a person on gas (assuming 4 people) and tow straight through because we could alternate drivers, and have completely fresh knobbies already mounted on the bike ready to go instead of having to spend half a day changing tires when you got there. Or we could all ride out there and spend an extra day or 2 on the road spend 340 dollars a person in gas and have to change tires. Not to mention the logistical hassle of breaking a bike and the fact you'd spend more time getting to and from where you want to ride instead of riding where you want to ride... Yep sounds like a great idea to ride there. |

You could rent an 990 Adventure from these guys and have an epic ride from San Fran to Colorado and back after the Rally depending on how much time you have. Mike Z |
