One of the first times, he actually played at a junior college in northern California.... I heard him start Voodoo Chile slight return and got up at the foot of the stage. Pretty awesome evening in a small venue like that.

All the other times were at large outdoor places like Concord Pavilion

I used to ski there. Close to Redding, pretty cheap compared to Tahoe and closer than Bachelor...

I think that was the first place I ever skied. Lived in Arcata and went over there with the Boy Scouts. Must have been about 6th grade, '58

Figured out how to recover some of the photos from my latest tour that I lost when my previous laptop died. Interesting process.
