I have an ertf repeater with a patch cord from tony for my 60csx but i found a delay that was hard to deal with at any kinda speed. Maybe his direct unit will be better . Scott i realize that I wont need it for the M1K . But I want to be prepared for the GR. or the D1K .

I would expect the delay to be similar since I think Tony's unit does pretty much the same thing as the ERTF. A repeater just takes the data from your GPS, and displays the heading based on that data. The GPS itself is a major part of the delay. I have the same problem reading the heading right off the screen of the GPS. It takes 2 or 3 seconds to give you the right answer.

Oh yeah is there any chance that this wording will change the 400cc class to 450 on bikes.....just wondering because I have a WR450 that I could throw a big tank on....and yes I know it's Honda country but I'm on a budget.

If I do this again next year it will be on my WR450 this time so you won't be the only one riding blue

When I was gearing up for the Tuareg (which I canceled due to injury... which I hope to recover from in time for the Mex1K) I ordered one of the 10L rear safari tanks. That along with the Acerbis tank I have on there now (15L I think) I should be a supertanker!

Your WR 450 is a great bike for this event !!!

That is exactly what I'm probably going to do. I already have the 3.6 on it now just going to add the 1.3(5L) safari to the back. Just need to send my suspension off to get done, it's too soft for HS so I know it would be terrible in Baja.
