Yeah, but it keeps the rain off me, and I can drink coffee on the ride to work and look like a BOSS!

The steering stop issues. Not quite the right shape. I'll use the die grinder and sort it later

I made a new mount for the ABS sensor.

I ride mostly with the ABS switched on, rarely switching it off. No, it doesn't make you forget how to use your brakes.

But it does come as a shock when you launch into a gravel covered hairpin and discover that you forgot to hook it back up.

There was a significant drop on the outside of that hairpin. I had one of those moments.

Yep I gave up on that emig stabilizer a long time ago.. I've never had anything leak so much in my life.. send it back.. get it fix ride and it would leak.. I finally gave up on it.. I think I modified a BRP handle bar clamp to work with the emig triple so I could use my old reliable scotts..

The header guard was off the specials table at the local bike shop. I think it was $10.

I cut it in half and went half each header.

The Emig steering damper has done nothing but leak. I can't figure it out.

It had a missing o-ring on one of the fill screws, I fixed that, but still some leakage. I'm stumped.

It still seems to work ok though.

Not bad. A bit more than I spent but I'm super happy with my shiver 45 forks in my F800GS

entire aprilia front end

ok fellas...heres what happened to me...i had a friend come riding with me on his gs 800 and i was riding my aprilia rxv 550....this is getting good already isnt it...he slid out in a tight turn and toasted his entire front end..i ended buying the bike off him(written off)and literally slid an entire rxv 55o front end,(wheel, brakes, brake line, headlight, fender)in triple clamps and all right in perfectly!! all ihad to do was grind down the bearing nut(the one with the grooves)about a quarter inch cause the steering stem was that much shorter..i call it my gs 800 super enduro..and i mounted the beemer windshield unto the turn signal mounts ...check out pics at www.vibnb.com

looks good! i like it much better than most of the high-fender mods which stay with the original headlight assembly. looks like that bike touratech built.
