JP's DR decided to take a nap   It was a dry year here in Cali 1-1-2012, that sign should be covered by snow   Scrambleon and a barely frozen lake  a test ride on "my" new bike  to the local Starbucks Golar wash, Death Valley, CA Death Valley Daze Feb. 2012   Chloride Cliffs, Death Valley   Titus Canyon  more Titus   Badwater from above...  camp Teagle wash, Spangler Hills, CA, Feb 2012  strange spotted rocks, Spangler hills   Salmon creek bridge, the Rincon trail, WARPED VIII 4-13-2012  Montibank on the Rincon   Rincon rock challenge  more from WARPED snow and mud included...      a brushy, rocky ,steep trail   bitchin foothill trails!  the Kern   RAZR in the snow, awesome pic Finn!   WARPED IX coming soon...  a secret trail in the woods...  Reasteer makin' a tight turn  more good stuff...   June 2012    more from the same day in June, Rincon camp  gotta love the diversity here...  the big bike on the Rincon...  this was a solo ride on Memorial day 2012  Jimmy Lewis school 6-2-2012  the class...  here's Jimmy testing my front brake  Hayward's Outback in the Piutes  6-16-2012 I rode with Slowerthanu in Sequoia for Father's day...  nice meadows up there  just another bitchen' trail  a little creek xrossing       Rowher 5-5-2012  here's Schlongrider giving the salute from the top of Rowher  Texas canyon  I found one of Javi's trails up Fraiser mountain   sunrise over Sheman peak 7-8-2012 on the way to Kennedy meadows  Max the wonder dog  HBmichael old school XL350  the Grinch  Kalitrailrider   here I got pitched over the bars  it has been a great year of riding  and it's not over yet   7-22-2012 Sequoia solo ride  sunrise over Sequoia    White Mountain Rally 8-7-2012     Scrambleon on the way to Coyote flats, White Mountain in the background     the Ansel Adams Wilderness   Old Silver Canyon  note the trail going up the mountain...    1224R Old Silver Canyon road  Silver Canyon, looking towards Bishop and Coyote Flats  the Mt. Whitney fish hacthery  Mt. Whitney   Sherman pass... that's the first part of the year, more to come...

Oh and a little local MX action on one of the vintage bikes this year ... I literally beat the hell out of this poor little thing...and have a fun time doing it
    Looking bike I hardly rode at all this year. .But had a blast and every time I rode with the guys from Hell on Wheels or went out a mixed it up with the hooligans and the guys at Iron and Resin I went home with a smile on my face, some real " Run What Ya Brung" shit and everybody had a good time new years resolution is to get out and ride more next year

Mojave Trail in March
 Checked out the forest roads above Green Valley Lake in August. Loaner bike, 1050 in for service.  Rode 2400+ mile loop to Portland on the 1050 over Labor Day  Camped out with the San Diego crew on Mount Laguna in October  Plus, rode all the regular stuff. DVDaze January, WARPED April, LA-B-V Thanksgiving. Not much of a shutterbug, what can I say? I notice I have exactly zero pics of my KLR this year...

Don't get me wrong...I love the rides I have done this year for the ride itself, but even more, I appreciate the new friends I have made through riding and the old friends who keep creating memories for the days in the rocking chair on the front porch.
This is from a ride we did from Tucson to the Grand Canyon and back 90% dirt. Four of the guys shipped their bikes from upstate NY to Tucson to make this trip happen. (where there is a will...there is a way).

Verplank trail, the full story is in the Sequoia thread.    the search chopper  8-24-2012 I rode Kennedy Meadows again with the Central Valley crew...  JPaccassi  Montibank  Scrambleon  Labor day in the Kern...  the skinny rock bridge, sketchy, ask RAZR, he missed the downside ramp   Rearsteer   back in the woods...theGrinch  Windrat  Celebrate Life ride bonfire  dog pic   an unexpected trail closure...  good thing Rearsteer carries a saw    smashed my headpipe good on this trail  my favorite pic of the year... shot by Windrat  another Windrat photo...somewhere in Sequoia.  back at Sherman pass overlook again with the twin 525's  Happytrails Halloween ride 10-28-2012, pumpkin in tow...  RAZR, Kap, HAPPYTRAILSINC, and Kalitrailrider, Singletrack gardener is somewhere      still more to come the year's not over yet
