Well fellow asylumees, today I ran across on a 35F01 can and snagged it.
![]() Any thoughts on the merits of the Hindle mid-pipe as opposed to 2-brothers?

![]() After the Hindle wears its way thru the brake line clip, it starts working on the brake line itself. I read somewhere that they're working on a revision. So I never installed the Hindle I had bought and went with Kientec's 2-brothers. Quote:

ER70S-2, thanks.
After re-reading all this and thinking on the photos you posted I think I'll just go with the 2-bros and save myself the anxiety.

Ordered the 2 bros pipe today from Jesse. I'll try and remember to do photos for a write up of the install.

I have had the 35, 40, and 24F0 cans on my DR, with the air box/jetting mods... I would be happy with any of them; the difference, in a nutshell:
40f0; 4.5#, sounds better, flows a LOT of air 35fo; approx 7#, same size as the 40, still sounds great 24F0; same weight as the 35, slightly longer, my DR seems to like this one the best, has the perfect amount of restriction. I have a pumper carb and oversized header on the way from Kientech.com; interested in how the different header will affect my torque, should know by the end of the week. |

help out a noob
Allright Guys! I have recently picked up an '04 and have proceeded to strip it down and clean it up, (in my living room, no less) anyways, I was hoping that some asylum guru here can identify the pipe on this bike there is no markings (that I can see) maybe this is long shot, but I thought if anybody would know, it would be you guys! Thanks

Anybody ever mount up the 24F0A using a flexible exhaust pipe from auto zone, pep boy, etc? I scored a muffler for $15 but don't feel like shelling out $220 for a mid pipe..
