MizzouRider - you need to get a little more creative and tie the riding in with the hunting! Strap a dog box on the back of the GS and a handlebar mount shotgun holder!

Wait, maybe that's a little more suited to a 1942 KLR.

If you want to meet up , let me know. We have no set route. We will probably take 21 to DeSoto and then pick up the bridges route to Bixby for lunch. -Kevin Cell 618-444-8616

Loggers Lake Got more logs

Loggers lake is closed to motor vehical traffic (By MANY trees and boulders) until April 1st.
This due to repeated vandalizing and 4 wheelers tearing up the place! You are allowed to walk in to camp if you dare leave your bike up the hill....

Ride report is here...

It was good ridding with you. It would have been nice to seat around a fire and tell lies.

Sunday was great, 75 miles of leaf covered trail. (couldn't see the rocks that way) Started a little south of your place, went to Palmer and back. With a Buffalo chicken samitch at Shirley. Ban, Linda and I did a good gravel loop, St. Gen. to Fredericktown on Saturday too. Got to love this global warming.

Have any of you fellow Missourians plated a dirt bike very recently...say in the last 6 months? I'm receiving conflicting information from from Jeff City. So far, no one can point to a statute that forbids it.

I don't know if I'm late for the last meetup or early for the next one, but I'm enjoying a sandwich at Bixby!
