I wouldn't place a lot of stock in a CarFax report. I bought a car that had a clean report, turns out it had been crashed.

I've never tried this before but if you could "test drive" it, take it to your local Carmax dealer and pretend you want to sell it. Those guys will find everything that's wrong with it in about 15 minutes. You'll also find out what's its worth on a trade.

That's sneaky clever. Don't know if I can mange it but it's a good thought.

I'm not really counting on Carfax for a good report, I'm interested to see anything that looks off...

We're getting surprisingly warm weather here - 70 yesterday, seventies today! Tomorrow back to cold. I missed a lot of riding opportunities to other things chaining and slaving me this season. I'm hoping to get out a little bit today. I'd like to ride hall springs before it closes.

Thanks, Tracy! Mike, be gentle on the desk!

What a beautiful day! Had a great forest ride with peacerider. Cautious pace of 80 miles in 3.5 hours.
It was difficult to walk for about a half-hour after getting home my legs felt like rubber. And it seemed like I was barely moving when I was walking. Clearly, I need to ride more often!

Here is where we went; since the map doesn't show the roads completely, it took three sections to show the path if yer interested in seein'.

Hall Springs - German River
Vepco1 - Ltl Dry Rvr - Vepco2
Gauley Ridge - Long Run

Cheers, all!

Are they looking for a B&B or a hotel?

Skippii used to work at the Courtyard by Marriot on the hill and would be your best contact for reviews around HBurg.

Hotel

[QUOTE=Sic Semper Tyrannis;20182300]Hotel.

Haven't stayed here since I am local - but I hear that Village Inn is really nice. I know the family that owns it and it is not a big chain hotel. Smaller and more of the "old style motel" feel. It's across from the Rockingham County Fairgrounds.
