Anybody down for some riding in the Midlands or SC area today? or the rest of the weekend?

Its supposed to be in the low 70s today, Sat and Sun a little cooler. I don't have any sick people to take care of, the gf is out of town, and I'm going to blow off all the stuff I have to do around the house for a while. Let's ride!

So I'm up for anytime today. Saturday could work, but I have a date with the TV for the GT vs uga game from 12-3:30. Sunday is also wide open.

I'm on the new F800GS so probably going to keep it to light dirt/gravel. I've sadly only had the chance to put 800 miles on it in the past 6 weeks and am still getting used to it. My offroad has been minimal on it so far. Still chicken about messing up a basically brand new bike. Maybe someone will convince me to get a little crazy with it?

I didn't see a good "want to ride thread" for SC besides the lowcountry ones, so will probably post up in a few threads!

Tofu burgers at your house would be good. We'll have to see how much time he has to share with us.

I've got about a day trip from korea and another day trip back to korea. I think I'm going to try and travel as little as possible when inside the states. As much as I would love the idea, I think I need to save that time I would use to travel to the coast. I'll let yall know better closer to my arrival. Sorry for the slightly vague information.

Car Show Downtown Columbia Thursday

There is an informal Car Show this Thursday 12/6 in downtown Columbia SC on Main St between Hampton and Taylor Streets. Cowboys Brazilian Steakhouse is a good place to search on the Google. Usually quite a few sweet cars (Porsche's, Vipers, lots of classics) and we have gotten a few bikes out the last two months. Would love to see some more ADV members. Runs from about 4pm til 9 or 10. The local businesses also turn out and sell beer, wine and food.

I was thinking about The Mellow Mushroom.
I have never been there, but I hear it's very good.

Mellow Mushroom is pretty decent, but expensive for pizza.

Pawley's Front Porch (really good burgers and sweet potato fries) in 5 Pts is the bomb.

Kovachi's in Lexington is some damn good Italian for the amount of food you get. Definitely bring a saddlebag, case, trailer for all the food you take home after eating there.

I'll actually be in town this weekend. I'm cool with wherever.
