Heavy Class
Guess the 08 Uly will also fit into the Heavy Class. Thought they were referring to the riders weight there for a brief instant when we saw that class in the Regs.. LOL
Remember, Big Bikes like to play in the sand also!!! ![]() Blame it on Stage Hand

There will probably be 3 or 4 other riders from Ohio going down for SandBlast. I did Sandblast as my first Rally last year and my first time riding sand roads. I highly reccomend it. I did Rally WV and would have done Black River if it didn't conflict with other plans I'd made. The 530 will be a great bike for this ride too. |

If you're new to riding, I would suggest the ADV class.
All the fun without the stress of racing, no pressure in other words. Also, be carefull, the SE's don't stop very well methinks

Unless they changed the rules or your KDX is a 4 stroke... It's a no go.
It's a shame because I'd love to run my 2 stroke street legal KTM, but I guess my only option would be the adventure which I don't really have much desire to see wadded up at 60mph. but rally racing has never been about being accessible... |

Actually raced an Adventure there about 4 yrs ago, thinking about doing it again just for fun. Bike can be highly competetive and there are a couple of spots where you can double that 60! Rally is quite accessible really, just throw away the excuse book!

Weight Reduction 2008 Uly
Been review the layout and construction of the 08 Uly,
NOT A LOT of weight to be reduced. Can loose the bags, triple tail, bag racks, the dash (need to re-install a headlight), still weigh in on the other side of DANG HEAVY. Dirt Tires (TKC80s) on Both ends will up the sprung weight so, what's the options. Thanks
