New tag # 1014 me thinks!

1960's history in Raleigh. There was a house here called Belle Acres where Senators and others high in politics in town could be found. The owner was a colorful Duke athlete and the 4 th coach of Appalacian State university. The stadium is named after him. In 1963 he was sentenced to 18 months in prison for bid rigging. He had a going to jail party in his house before spending just 4 months in prison. The house was turned into a restaurant in the 80's. The house burned Nov 6 2005.

Shit! I just spent more time trying to figure out where that is than it's going to take me to get there. It's 0.6 miles from my office. Never seen it before.

Cool tag.

Night taggers better jump on this one quick.

Wb. Thought you would know it right off. Don't you have a close tie to App state?
My wife and I ate at the house when it was open. Nice view up there.

I like them rules, what's a good game without them anyway? Top of the hill is more interesting, but probably not on your Road King. Oh yeah, there are some thorns in those woods, a few scratches to prove it....

Odd.

Wonder why that image isn't posting.
Weird, it wouldn't load at first, now it's working fine.

Nice grab.

I did this instead of doing tagging today..

See starting post 550 and then the next page. Some of you might see familiar area roads and then again not.

Running from a raincloud!

Edit to add: Near a boundary, road name is an anagram of "Carnal Fevered Dog". EXIF data should be intact.
