Got the discs on the wheels. The wheels came with some Tourance tires on that still have a little tread left. I'm debating on keeping them on till the new Anakee III comes out. My only concern is that the rubber on these Tourances seems a little old/hard. I'll give em a try this weekend.

Dave, another place to look for worn wires is the bundle coming from the ignition key to where it passes the frame.

In that bundle of wires, there were two completely broken inside the insulation and two that were down to one or two strands. Every time I turned the handle bars to the left the bike would turn off.

Haha, I can't let you be the only one with "red" gear...

I'll be around some, but things are still busy. I want to get some riding in this winter, might have to break down and get some electric clothes.

I have been considering a rally fairing for the DRZ as well, seems like a good place to put all your stuff and get some wind protection as well.
