Not camp spots, people. You and your 3 guests.

+1

There's an article in the latest issue of dirt rider on this subject.

Not if you're a noob.

Big bike noobs - knobbies are worth the $$ for this trip. They will pay for themselves when you don't break your mirrors and windscreens.

Death Valley Noobs: Put a new set tires on your bike for this trip.

ron, lots of work, i was surprised too and got overwhelmed after 2 weeks. hit me like a tsunami, but glad to see lots of people stepping up to help, giving good advices, and answering questions.

if psr build another bathroom for men, we can open up the list to 50 more people; or we can switch the women's with the men just for that weekend .....maybe not

come and join us.

Las Vegas BMW has a few dual sports, as do a few other places here. Be prepared to shell out big bucks for a bike for the weekend.

You'd almost be better off buying a bike off of Craigslist, riding it for the weekend, then getting a local inmate to sell it for you.

Maybe some of those new Karoo's or something, I have however kind of sworn off Metzlers.

Mirrors and windscreens can be removed at the campsite prior to taking the bike out for a crash / ride.

I am as noob as they come. I was considering riding out to Pahrump for Jimmy's course but can't afford the $600 bones.

Get some of the Kenda Big Blocks. Great tire and a lot less $$. Then head to the desert and do some riding.

Thanks for the tip on the Kenda's.

I am going to attempt some super light off road on the crappy stock tires first. mostly because I cant bring myself to replace brand new tires. Cant imagine they will last longer than 5K miles anyway.

And crash bars will be installed prior to any of this!
