A tough adventure...
I thought helping grey nomads with flat tyres was good for the soul...seems I was on the wrong adventure!
Looks more like a hallucination...didn't know the go-pro could see inside their heads.

Phil hit a roo, he's ok but unfortunately the roo passed away. Phil did all he could for the roo (even mouth to mouth) but its injures where just to severe.

Great to see you made it to Perth! You get a chain in Gero....? Got my new battery today, so I'm off, solo on the Tenere, heading north straight into the jaws of the heat and wet of the season... Well it is an adventure bike and I'm up for my adventure! Lookout Darwin, here I come... Started a thread as you recommended "Hoonatic Ty Rides Australia" with more tales and pics to come. Cheers for your words of experience and encouragement and if I don't see ya out and about on the tracks first, I'll drop by with a few coldies at yours.

Made it
Made it to Perth. Phils chain sounds like a cross between a wind chime and the noise when you slam the knife and fork drawer.
There is sand in everything! Grog met us yesterday at Lancelin and piloted us to Perth. He showed us the art of lane splitting in peak hour. What a way to finish. Thanks for the barbie Grog and a clean bed. Awesome. See you on the track soon mate. Hoonatic Ty, here's a tip. Do you big smoky burnout on the Tenere after you reach your destination. If you do one in your driveway now you will smell like tyre smoke for the rest of the trip. |

Sorry I missed you guys, as (un)luck would have it, my training course got canned but I came down with the dreaded lurgy. See you on the sunny coast next weekend fingers crossed! Grog, will catch up for a day ride sometime in the new year.
