Just got home, parked the bike and unloaded my gear. It rained like crazy on the ride back.
Rocks, mudslides tree branches, trees, huge puddles. Passed by four different cars that had
slid off the road going over Hecker pass.

It was good fun at Mongo's place though. Lot's of tasty BBQ, cervesas and laughs around the
firepit till late last night. My tent weathered the storm well, stayed nice and dry in it in some
seriously heavy rain.

Well thanks to those that made it, good times. Too bad none of the core Arggh Riders showed, I Throw them a party and they don't show up. I guess as a group we are dead.

Eric, attendance to all events, ADV or not, are off this year on a whole. This will be temporary phenomenon and all will be

again soon enough.

ps: if I had been capable of sitting for 5 hrs. I'd not have missed it.

Maybe this is a good time to re-start the conversation about a gathering for sometime early spring? It's been bantered about in the past, maybe the time is at hand.

I heard talk of a "noobs" ride to Carrizo in March. I went a couple weeks ago and really would like to go back there again.

And to wake up to this ain't too shabby.

There's no water, food, fuel, bars, or much of anything else, but I think we could handle ourselves. I'm becoming less and less interested in "improved" campgrounds.

Y'all try to not get too wet and post at least a couple of pic's. __________________ . I ride faster than I should but slower than I wish.
