What company ships bikes from Halifax to Germany ?
Anyone know a good shipper by boat out of Hfx to Bremerhaven or Rotterdam etc ?
I have a German guy here on a F800GS who needs info, his Swedish shipper will not do eastbound, only westbound. He just finished 3 months 35K kms Hfx - Trans Lab - Alaska - Calif - DC - NY - Hfx and needs to ship it home so he can fly. Yeah, it was a surprise to him too . . . . I met a couple Germans in June at Meat Cove who had just picked up their bikes in Halifax and were starting a one year trip They had shipped them on a roll-on/roll-off ship from Germany. Don't know if this is the same shipper or not.

Thank you. I found them, they use RoRo.
Hopefully they are not the same ones he used westbound, will find out tomorrow. Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics 902-425-2873 |

Anyone have a ballpark on the costs to get a bike from Nova Scotia to Europe?

A lot of us have used Stefan's company, and have the MC stored at his facility in Heidelberg.
It is extremely convenient, he has a annual container leaving from Florida in March. I know it would be a challenge to ship from Maine to his depot (inside US shipping is far cheaper than Can/US shipping) but I would add the zero hassle factor as having a huge value. http://www.knopftours.com/Web-Site/M...Transport.html Stefan takes Visa and since I had enough travel points on my TD Travel Rewards Card, I was able to redeem points and have the cost covered. I received a invoice from Knopf Tours and that satisfied Visa ![]() The lack of hassles is well worth getting the bike to Florida. We shipped out of Vancouver as he often has space in October if a group of Europeans are sending their bike home, otherwise I would have ridden or shipped our bike to Florida
